# About

About the Trust AI & Security Lab at Sungshin Women's University.

Trust AI & Security Lab (TAIS Lab) is an academic research group in the Department of Convergence Security Engineering at Sungshin Women’s University in Seoul, Republic of Korea. The lab is led by Younghan Lee, a tenure-track Assistant Professor whose research examines the security and assurance of artificial-intelligence systems and the use of language models in software security.

Our work is organised around two connected directions. **LLM4SEC** investigates how large language models can support vulnerability detection, automated vulnerability repair, secure code generation, and kernel-code fault localisation. **SEC4LLM & AI/ML Security** studies the security of retrieval-augmented generation, tool-using and embodied agents, federated learning, and other AI/ML systems. Across both directions, we evaluate systems against explicit threat models and functional or security requirements rather than relying on model accuracy alone.
